MF CT/NG Fast is a faster version of the standard MF CT/NG detection kit designed for high throughput labs with maximum productivity. MF CT/NG Fast is a real time PCR detection kit for Chlamydia trachomatis and Neisseria gonorrhoeae. The kit utilizes an exogenous internal positive control to be simultaneously amplified with the pathogen target to rule out PCR inhibition and decrease false negatives. In addition, the kit incorporates uracil DNA glycosylase to minimize carry over contamination and false positives. The MF CT/NG Fast kit provides results in just 50 minutes and works with the following three specimen types: swab specimen, urine specimen, or liquid based cytology specimen.

Sensitive detection of 12 targets in an assay by the MF CT/NG Fast real time PCR detection kit. 10-fold serial dilutions of positive control mixtures (10⁶, 10⁵, 10⁴, 10³, and 10² copies/reaction) were analyzed using target specific primer and probe sets.
