MF HPV Q4 is a real time PCR detection kit for HPV types 6, 11, 16 and 18, the four types that account for the vast majority of cervical cancers, oropharyngeal cancers, genital warts and laryngeal papillomatosis. The kit incorporates uracil DNA glycosylase (UDG) to minimize carry over contamination and false positives. The MF HPV Q4 kit provides results in just under 4 hours for same day turnaround times and works with the following two specimen types: swab specimen or liquid based cytology specimen.

Sensitive detection of 4 targets in an assay by the MF HPV Q4 real time PCR detection kit. 10-fold serial dilutions of positive control mixtures (10⁷, 10⁶, 10⁵, 10⁴, 10³, and 10² copies/reaction) were analyzed using target specific primer and probe sets. The accuracy of real time PCR is demonstrated by the R² value=0.997 (A - HPV Type 6), R² value=0.999 (B - HPV Type 11), R² value=0.998 (C - HPV Type 16) and R² value=0.999 (D - HPV Type 18).
